A curtain raiser to this year’s market on Sunday 20 October at 18.00 held in the world-famous Grand Auditorium in the Palais des Festivals, the screening, attended by title lead and executive producer Morris Chestnut and executive producer and showrunner Craig Sweeny, will be followed by a Q&A and is open to all delegates.
In Watson, a year after the death of friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty, Dr. John Watson (Chestnut) resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. Watson’s old life isn’t done with him, though – Moriarty and Watson are set to write their own chapter of a story that has fascinated audiences for more than a century. Watson is a medical show with a strong investigative spine, featuring a modern version of one of history’s greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries.

Highly anticipated European epic drama series Rise of the Raven will celebrate its World Premiere at MIPCOM CANNES on Tuesday 22 October at 6 pm in the world-famous Grand Auditorium in the Palais des Festivals. the premiere will be attended by a broad and high-profile line up of European talents, led by acclaimed producer Robert Lantos (Sunshine, The Sweet Hereafter, Barney’s Version, Eastern Promises, Crimes of the Future).Talents attending are Gellért L. Kádár, playing titular hero János Hunyadi, Vivien Rujder, his on-screen wife Erzsébet, and Franciska Törocsik, starring as his first love, Mara. Further, Mariann Hermányi (Shadow and Bone), Ernõ Fekete ( Son of Saul), Elena Rusconi (6 Underground) and directors Robert Dornhelm (Children of Theatre Street, Vienna Blood, Maria Theresa, War and Peace), Orsi Nagypal (The Deal, The CW’s The Outpost), Attila Szász (Tall Tales, Eternal Winter), and showrunner Balázs Lengyel (HBO’s Golden Life) will join the premiere.
